Generation Calling

Generation calling~
1st Peter 2:9 
"But you are a chosen generation,  a royal priesthood,  a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light"-This is a generation called to abstain from sinful desires, which war against our souls. A generation called to live as free people but not to use the freedom as a cover-up for evil but rather to live as servants of God. A generation called to show love and respect to everyone, to fear God and honor Him. A generation called to reflect Jesus through our lifestyle.

This is a generation called out from darkness to light, and therefore, we ought to let our lights shine.
In these days, we have muddled morality with culture,  spirituality with trends, power and wealth,  love with lust, and worship with emotions. In such a juncture,  the present generation needs to understand the call for change.

A generation needs to resurge and be known as that generation that was taught,  with regard to our former way of life,  to put off our old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; but made new in the attitude of our own minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
